LUSCIOUS LEMON SQUARES

CRUST

3/4 cups butter

1 1/2 cups flour

1 cup powdered sugar

FILLING

3 eggs

1 1/2 cups sugar

3 Tbs flour

1/3 cups lemon juice

grated zest of 1 lemon

FROSTING

1 cup powdered sugar

2 Tbs melted butter

juice and zest of 1 lemon


Mix all ingredients for crust and pat into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Combine filling ingredients in mixer and pour over hot crust. Bake for 15 minutes, until set but not browned.

Mix frosting ingredients and spread over the cooled bars.
